Senior Air Compliance Manager
Sphere 3 Environmental Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Air Compliance Manager to serve an integral role in our client and staff relations. You will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships within our growing portfolio of clients. This position is responsible for providing regulatory compliance services for industries such as oil and gas production and transportation, surface coating, and others. What you'll do
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- • Coordinate with clients and the regulatory agencies to successfully implement customized compliance programs for our clients
- • Manage the flow of air compliance projects to meet deadlines and client requests
- • Evaluate and interpret regulatory requirements implemented by federal, state, or local environmental agencies
- • Determine applicability of air quality regulations
- • Produce and provide quality assurance of air permit applications for energy/industrial facilities
- • Manage the preparation of an array of air compliance reporting and tracking; GHG, ESG, Quad Oa, KPIs, Emission Inventories
- • Mentor junior staff in their professional development
- • Assist with collaborative business development efforts
Our Perfect Candidate
Education and Experience:- • Must have at least a BS/MS degree in Engineering or related field of study
- • 8+ years of relevant technical air compliance experience
- • Experience with Texas and New Mexico air quality regulations
- • Experience with ProMax
- • Familiar with oil & gas operations
- • Some local and out-of-state travel required
- • The successful candidate must complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug-free status with our substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing
- • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

Environmental Scientist
Sphere 3 Environmental Inc. is seeking an Environmental Scientist for our Longview, Texas office to provide regulatory compliance services for industries. This full-time staff position will be responsible for conducting a variety of environmental surveys, reporting, and permitting.
What you'll do
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- • Will need to comprehend and apply various environmental regulations to assist clients with compliance.
- • Most work will involve environmental field assessments, audits, soil/water sampling, and permitting for the oil/gas industry.
- • Conduct GPS field data collection and assist with other projects as needed.
- • Conduct LDAR infrared camera leak inspections.
Required Qualifications
- • Bachelor or Master's Degree in a science or engineering-related field of study.
- • Experience/training GIS and GPS
- • Ability to work in the field and office environment (approximately 50% field/travel).
- • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- • Must be able to travel, work outside in extreme heat or cold weather conditions, and safely conduct the physical aspects of field surveys.
- • Must have and maintain a good driving record.
- • Interact in a positive and professional manner with clients and other staff.

Regulatory Filing Specialist
Sphere 3 Environmental, Inc. is currently seeking a Regulatory Filing Specialist for our Longview, Texas office to provide data science and regulatory filing tasks for our oil and gas clientele. What you'll do
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- • Evaluate and interpret regulatory requirements implemented by federal, state, or local environmental agencies.
- • Combine, organize, restructure, and enter data from large data sets into regulatory reporting formats.
- • Work within state and federal reporting websites and portals to report daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual activities documenting our client's compliance with environmental regulations
- • Determine applicability of data points for various environmental regulations
- • Prepare data requests for clients and communicate with client representatives.
- • Utilize mathematical formulas to conert data into appropriate units for reprting
- • Coordinate with other team members to ensure cohesive project execution
Required Qualifications
- • BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Environmental, or Natural Science field of study.
- • Must be detail oriented.
- • Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills and mathematical aptitude.
- • Ability to learn new software programs quickly and efficiently.
- • Ability to work within multiple databases simultaneously.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- • Experience with or knowledge of oil and gas operations is a plus.
- • Greenhouse Gas, Flaring, Quad Oa, Tier II, or Emissions Inventory reporting knowledge is a plus
